To say that I am overjoyed would be an understatement.

I woke up on November 5th with a new sense of hope and security. I really do live in a country where anything is possible, dreams can be achieved and obstacles can be overcome.

Living in West Virginia, it was tough being an Obama supporter. When I volunteered for his campaign in the Spring I was threatened and mocked, called every name you can think of, and once while standing on a street corner with his sign, got a Snuff can thrown at me. HA!
I guess I am proud to say that Barack didn’t lose as bad in my state as he did in a few others. However I am very proud to say that my country as a whole elected a man that I have immense respect for.

To anyone who still believes that he is the anti-Christ or a terrorist, I would suggest you watch the speech he gave on the evening of November 4th in Chicago. I feel such sincerity in each of his words and believe that he will at least be an honest and thoughtful President (which is quite an upgrade from our last one)

Great things are to come. I know it.
